The Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California seeks a self-motivated Senior Student Services Advisor to support undergraduate law programs. You will advance recruitment and outreach, advise prospective and current students, and coordinate day-to-day activities in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• 3 years in a similar or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of USC student and academic programs, policies and procedures and knowledge of the student information system.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate outreach and recruitment for prospective students and families.
• Provide leadership and guidance to advising colleagues on outreach and admissions.
• Develop understanding of university student services, degree requirements and policies for proactive advising.
• Maintain a caring, helpful, professional approach to advising students.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective and current students and related services.
• Coordinate services with other campus offices and act as a resource for information on student affairs and advisement.
• Provide individual and group advising and administrative support to undergraduate law students.
• Analyze enrollment, graduation, and student data and prepare reports for planning and assessment.
• Make presentations to groups of prospective and current USC students and assist with events.
• Attend recruiting events on and off campus; coordinate services and events; represent the law school.
• Arrange vendor services and ensure follow-through on responsibilities.
• Assist with undergraduate registrar tasks including registration, exam administration, accommodations, and integrity matters.
• Coordinate communications promoting programs (newsletters, bulletins, brochures, website).
• Assist with orientation and other law school events; uphold ethics and best practices in academic advising.
