Job summary

We seek a seasoned Superintendent to lead daily structural activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in heavy civil construction, strong leadership, and the ability to read complex drawings and plans.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in structural/heavy civil construction with strong field leadership.
• 3+ years in Superintendent/General Foreman or equivalent supervisory role.
• Experience in bridges, cast-in-place concrete, foundations, formwork, and precast.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specs and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA requirements; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily structural construction activities with crews and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate concrete, formwork, reinforcement, and related operations.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and deliveries to maintain schedule.
• Develop look-ahead and short-term work plans and monitor progress.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and contract requirements.
• Ensure safety and quality through field inspections and daily meetings.
• Lead and mentor foremen and craft employees; enforce accountability.
