Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Structures MRB Engineer in Savannah, GA to lead complex structural nonconformances on aerospace programs. You will guide cross-functional teams to ensure airworthiness, production schedule adherence, and product integrity while applying advanced repair concepts for both metallic and composite structures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years in MRB, with expertise in Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Corridor,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of dedicated Structures MRB Engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Extensive experience with repair dispositions for composite and metallic structures.
• Proven experience supporting major aircraft structural components.
• Strong capability to rapidly analyze and design structural repairs using equivalent strength and stiffness methods.
• Experience working in production and schedule-driven aerospace environments.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Corridor, Word & Excel.
• Ability to work independently and make high-level technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in resolving complex structural nonconformances.
• Collaborate across engineering and production to meet quality and airworthiness standards.
• Create and justify engineering dispositions for nonconforming structures.
• Analyze and develop repair solutions for metallic and composite structures.
• Lead engineering investigations and develop innovative repair concepts.
• Make authoritative decisions impacting production schedules and product integrity.
• Develop standards, methods, and process improvements.
• Work with cross-functional teams in a schedule-driven environment.
• Utilize Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Corridor, Word and Excel in daily tasks.
