Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate proposals for private and public sector projects from $50M to $100M. You will analyze drawings and site conditions, collaborate with field teams, and present bids to senior management for review and approval.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in structures estimating, 10 years preferred, with leadership experience. Proficiency in MS Office, AGTEK, Primavera, and advanced estimating software is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5 years of structures estimating experience required, 10 years preferred.
• Prior management experience required.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AGTEK Take-off and Primavera Scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate estimates for private and public sector projects from $50–$100 million.
• Review drawings, specifications and site conditions to finalize estimates.
• Lead bid reviews with senior management to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop relationships to increase bid opportunities in the regional market.
• Supervise estimating staff to ensure Granite standards are met.
• Participate in design-build preconstruction and means/method discussions.
