Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with solid technical knowledge and skills associated with structures and building construction.
• CA Registered Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent analysis of technical submittals relating to shoring, falsework and other structural elements as needed
• Responsible for the technical and administrative control of the structure elements of a locally administered project
• Administers the documentation of a construction contract’s structural work
• Reviews change orders, submittals, shop drawings and materials testing.Provide input and direction regarding all aspects of the construction project.
• Performs inspection and engineering support for variety of structure construction engineering projects
• Work in conjunction with field inspectors and project team members to ensure project goals are being met
• Administers projects in the absence of Resident Engineer
• Monitors and reviews contractors’ construction schedules
• Prepares and files daily construction reports, diaries, & other project documents
• Verifies acceptability of material incorporated into the project and maintains material and inspection records
• Coordinates with contractors and agencies about different tasks and projects
