Job summary

GHD’s US West Design and Delivery Organization in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer – Roads to support the delivery of highways, interchanges, local roads, roundabouts, trails, and other transportation projects from concept through final design. The position offers a hybrid work model with in‑office Roseville collaboration three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience in civil/roadway design.
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certificate preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support roadway and transportation design from preliminary through final plans and specifications.
• Prepare geometric layouts, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and design exhibits.
• Develop construction cost estimates and technical memos and reports.
• Conduct transportation planning studies and traffic analyses for intersections and corridors.
• Collect and analyze traffic, roadway, and crash data to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure quality and standards.
