Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding experience on large structural systems and tooling.
• Blueprint Reading and Fabrication training or certification.
• GMAW, GTAW, SMAW welding processes experience.
• Experience welding stainless steel and copper with GTAW.

Responsibilities

• Weld and inspect large metallic structures and tooling within timelines and budgets.
• Set up welding processes per specs and select equipment and methods.
• Read drawings and take measurements to plan layouts.
• Cut and join material; perform hand/semi-automatic welding in various positions.
• Provide manufacturability feedback to design engineers for welds.
• Conduct welding equipment qualification trials.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing discrepancies with continuous improvement focus.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
