Job summary

Cinterra in Carrboro, NC is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our construction and manufacturing team. You will read blueprints and welding specifications and perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welds on structural steel components such as beams and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Structural Welder in construction, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety procedures, and industry standards.
• Ability to operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
• Certification in welding (such as AWS or equivalent) is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is a plus.

Responsibilities
