Job summary

R.G. Hanson Company, Inc. seeks a skilled Welder Fabricator to independently layout, cut, form, and assemble complex metal structures from start to finish. The ideal candidate will understand metallurgy and structural design and perform advanced welding with minimal supervision.

Proficiency with grinders, plasma cutters, torches, and shop measurement tools is required; AWS certifications are preferred but not necessary. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a demanding shop environment.

Job Details:

• The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of metallurgy, structural design, and advanced welding techniques to deliver high precision, structural-grade work with a minimal of supervision.
• Expert level capability with grinders, plasma cutters, torches and shop measurement tools are required.
• AWS certifications are preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, working in demanding shop environments and stand or kneel for extended shifts.
