Job summary

Klover Prefab is seeking an experienced Structural Fabrication Welder III to independently weld exterior and interior wall panels for commercial buildings. You will mentor junior welders and ensure quality on each panel, following shop drawings and safety guidelines.

The role requires AWS D1.1 certification, 10+ years MIG welding experience, and ability to work Monday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM with a $2/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 10+ years MIG welding experience or equivalent combination of education/work.
• Trade/vocational education in construction/carpentry is preferred.
• Current AWS D1.1 GMAW and/or SMAW certifications and ability to recertify.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings to guide welds.
• Gather materials and determine appropriate welding equipment/methods.
• Measure and cut materials; lay out panels per drawings.
• Pre-assemble panel components for welding and perform welds in various positions.
• Mentor Welder I/II as directed by management; attend safety and welder trainings.
• Maintain welding certification logs and comply with safety policies.
