Job summary

Klover Prefab is seeking a Structural Fabrication Welder II in Quakertown, PA to weld exterior and interior wall panels for commercial buildings. You will read shop drawings, select welding methods, and assemble panels for welding in a heavy manufacturing setting.

The role requires 5+ years MIG welding experience, AWS D1.1 certifications, and a solid manufacturing background. Work schedule is Monday–Thursday, 5 AM to 3:30 PM with voluntary overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 5+ years MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Trade school/vocational education in construction or carpentry.
• Current AWS D1.1 GMAW and/or SMAW certifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Gather and collect materials.
• Determine welding equipment or method based on specifications and shop drawings.
• Accurately measure and cut miscellaneous materials.
• Perform panel layout per drawings.
• Pre-assemble panel components for weld.
• Perform welds to secure panels.
• Weld components using welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
• Secure wall assembly onto crane and move to next operation.
• Attend welder and safety training as required.
