Job summary

Varstaff Staffing seeks a Structural Technician to oversee complex structural assembly tasks for aerospace vehicles, reading blueprints and aligning parts using jigs and templates, and installing specialized fasteners with precision. You will mentor technicians, perform quality inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required 8–15+ years of experience, a High School Diploma or GED (associates preferred), and an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED with 8–15+ years of relevant structural assembly experience.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
• Mastery in structural blueprint reading and technical schematics.
• Experience with airframe corrosion removal, repair, and refinishing.
• Must possess personal mechanics tools in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Oversee large-scale assembly projects and mentor technicians on the shop floor.
• Conduct advanced quality checks and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise between production floor and engineering management to implement changes.
