Jobot is seeking a Structural Steel Project Manager for our Midwest Steel Fabrication team. This permanent role oversees projects from conception to completion, focusing on budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and cross‑functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in construction, preferably steel fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures and PM principles.
• Experience with contract management, budgeting, and decision-making.
• Familiarity with safety codes and quality standards.
• Experience with construction mgmt software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the project life cycle from initiation to closure.
• Lead project planning sessions and manage resources.
• Coordinate staff and resources, ensure documentation is maintained.
• Assess risks and provide mitigation solutions.
• Ensure deadlines are met and manage changes.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy and progress.
• Manage large teams and foster collaboration.
