Job summary

Axion Recruitment Limited represents a client seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead structural steel fabrication projects from contract award through to completion. You will manage multiple high-value projects, coordinating with general contractors, engineers, detailers, fabrication teams and subcontractors to deliver work on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Travel to site locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in structural steel or fabrication
• 5+ years managing projects exceeding $5M
• Experience with concurrent projects totaling $10M+
• Proficient in Procore, Autodesk, EJE or Endeavour
• Knowledge of Tekla or SDS/2, AWS D1.1, AISC Code of Standard Practice
• Experience with BIM coordination and fabrication shop workflows
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Willingness to travel; valid driver''s license
• All applicants must live in the USA and be eligible to work in the USA

Responsibilities

• Lead structural steel fabrication projects from award to completion
• Develop and manage schedules, resources and milestones
• Coordinate contractors, detailers, erectors, suppliers
• Monitor shop drawings, submittals and RFIs to prevent delays
• Oversee purchasing schedules for timely materials
• Manage scope changes and change orders with approvals
• Monitor budgets and address cost overruns with production
• Act as senior client contact for kickoff meetings and progress updates
• Support bid reviews and handovers with estimating teams
• Mentor or supervise project managers as required
