Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a Structural Steel Erection Senior Project Manager for Nashville metro area projects. You will lead the program from early design through field execution, guiding schedules, budgets, and vendor coordination to deliver on-time builds.

The role demands 10+ years in commercial construction PM and 3+ years in steel erection, along with PMP being preferred. Travel to sites and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management, and 3+ years in structural steel erection PM
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office, Smartsheet, and project management tools
• Ability to travel to customer locations and project sites (must have a valid driver's license)
• Certified PMP Preferred
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
• Lead weekly project meetings and provide status updates
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
• Manage RFQs, RFIs, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with quality standards, contract specifications, and project timelines.
