Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking a Structural Designer for our Digital Delivery team. The Designer should have experience in construction document production and be familiar with current technical tools and software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.

Based in Lone Tree, CO, you will create reviewable 3D models and construction documents for temporary works, collaborate with engineering and construction teams, and help ensure safety and efficiency on projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in 3D based construction documents.
• Associate degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, or similar program.
• Proficiency in Revit modeling, sheet production & family creation.
• Additional proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Navisworks is a plus.
• General knowledge of engineering principles and materials for structural work.
• Ability to clearly think in 3D concepts and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models for temporary structures supporting construction activities.
• Produce design documents for estimating support and development of construction documents.
• Maintain status of assigned tasks on team schedule.
• Follow and help improve company standards.
