Job summary

The Greenridge Group in Los Angeles, CA seeks an experienced Structural Engineer / QA/QC Technical Reviewer to support LAUSD’s Facilities Services Division. You will review structural plans and specifications for LAUSD projects, perform QA/QC and peer reviews, and ensure compliance with District standards, codes, and safety requirements.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years in structural engineering for educational facilities, a California PE license, knowledge of K-12 construction, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-time structural engineering experience in educational facilities.
• California PE license required.
• Knowledge of K-12 construction, building codes, and DSA requirements.
• SE license preferred.
• Experience performing QA/QC, constructability, and peer reviews.

Responsibilities

• Review structural plans and specifications for LAUSD construction projects.
• Perform QA/QC, constructability, and peer reviews during design and construction.
• Review structural designs for compliance with District standards, codes, and safety requirements.
• Provide detailed technical comments and recommendations to architects, engineers, Design Managers, OARs, and Inspectors.
• Review structural standards, specifications, product substitutions, and deviations from District standards.
• Support updates to LAUSD design guidelines, technical specifications, and structural standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, District personnel, and public agencies.
