Job summary
Gessner Engineering, LLC. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineering Project Manager in Bryan, TX.
You will lead the delivery of coordinated structural drawings, manage planning and budgeting, and act as Engineer of Record for diverse building projects including higher education, municipal, and high-end residential sectors. You will supervise engineers and interns, coordinate with stakeholders, and pursue growth opportunities while ensuring constructible, code-compliant designs.
Qualifications
- PE license with structural focus in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in architectural/civil/structural engineering; Master's preferred.
- Minimum six years in structural engineering, including coordination, design and drafting.
- Experience in Engineer of Record duties and project reviews.
- Experience in gravity and lateral frame design and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and delivery of multiple projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Perform Engineer of Record duties for code-compliant deliverables.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, owners and design teams.
- Develop team members and foster collaboration and growth.
- Lead initiatives to improve company processes and relationships.
- Identify new business opportunities for growth.
