Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis.
• Active PE license required; Texas licensure or eligibility desired.
• 10+ years of structural engineering design and project leadership experience.
• Experience as Engineer of Record (EOR) or leading design deliverables.
• Proficiency in structural software RAM, RISA, Revit, and related tools.
• Strong ability to manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engineer of Record for complex structural projects in Austin.
• Lead analysis, design, calculations, and construction documentation.
• Oversee QA/QC and ensure compliance with IBC, AISC, ACI standards.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with architects/owners.
• Develop scopes, fees, and proposals; grow structural engineering practice.
