Job summary

Martin/Martin, inc. seeks a licensed Structural Engineer with project management experience to join our San Mateo team.

Lead engineering and technician staff on diverse nationwide projects, coordinating designs from concept to construction across healthcare, commercial, office, and education sectors. Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 9 years progressive engineering experience.
• California SE licensure or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum 3 years of high seismic engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering and technician staff on projects
• Serve as primary client/contractor contact during design and construction phases
• Develop, monitor, and manage project work plans, schedules, and budgets
• Develop and implement QA/QC plans for projects
• Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to career development
• Represent the firm in business development efforts
