Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to act as the SME for structural design, reviewing designs to meet cost and schedule objectives and customer requirements. The role involves ensuring UFC/IBC/ANSI/ASCE compliance and coordinating with designers and analysts on trade studies.

The candidate will lead structural assessments, design and validate structural solutions, and serve as Engineer of Record for the project’s structural portion. A P.E.

Formación

• BSCE required; P.E. licensure required.
• 6+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA).

Responsabilidades

• Review structural designs for compliance with UFC, IBC, ANSI, and ASCE standards.
• Design structural systems to account for transport, live, and seismic loads.
• Collaborate with designers and analysts on design trade studies and solutions.
• Review design and construction methodology for typical facility structural steel projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for structural design.
