Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• PE license in the State of New Jersey required.
• 5 years of structural engineering experience in a consulting environment.
• Working knowledge of building codes and structural analysis/design software.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Assist in design and analysis of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and related documentation.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
• Support construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, RFIs, and field observations.
