Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to lead the design of bridges and other structural projects across our Maryland, Colorado, or DC offices. You will prepare contract documents, apply AASHTO, ACI, and IBC codes, and perform QC reviews of calculations and drawings while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with CADD operators.

The role may be performed remotely or from office locations; candidates in approved U.S. locations are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum eight (8) years of bridge and structural design experience.
• P.E. License required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead structural design development for projects.
• Perform structural analyses using standard software tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines.
• Ensure design calculations and drawings meet codes and standards.
