Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Senior Structural Project Manager with a strong PE license and 12+ years in water resources to lead design across dams, energy, fisheries, and infrastructure. You will mentor staff, pursue business development, and deliver projects from concept through construction.

The role requires a Seller-Doer mindset, proven client leadership, and the ability to manage multi-discipline teams while ensuring technical excellence and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in structural engineering preferred.
• 15+ years of structural design experience in water resources.
• 10+ years as a Project Manager preferred.
• PE license required; SE license preferred; NCEES registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation of complete project documents from design development reports through construction documents.
• Independently evaluate, select, and apply advanced structural design techniques and criteria.
• Effectively manage multi-discipline teams, assign tasks and direct engineers, technicians and admin staff.
• Collect and analyze existing data via field investigations to establish conditions and design criteria.
• Identify project opportunities and assist with proposals for engineering projects.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for projects.
• Develop, manage, and maintain client relationships.
• Evaluate and manage planning, design and construction support services.
