Job summary

Apex Structural Engineering, Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead structural engineering projects from initiation to construction.

You will guide project scope, budgets, staffing, and technical execution while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with architects, MEP/FP teams, and fabricators. The role combines technical leadership with project management responsibilities in a hybrid work setting, offering opportunities to advance engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Typically seven or more years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural engineering projects from initiation through construction.
• Establish scope, fee, budget, schedule, staffing, and delivery plans.
• Monitor financials and adjust the plan to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP/FP, contractors, and fabricators for multidisciplinary coordination.
• Lead external project meetings and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Develop client relationships and manage risk across projects.
• Coordinate QA/QC reviews and ensure timely deliverables.
