Job summary

DeSimone Consulting Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the structural design process from inception to construction for mid- to high-rise projects. You’ll manage schedules, budgets, and teams while coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure design integrity and code compliance.

You will lead analyses using ETABS, SAP2000, and RAM, develop design criteria, review submittals, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field; and 10 years of relevant work experience in structural analysis and design; or
• Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field; and eight years of relevant work experience, including project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and supervising mid- to high-rise building structures.
• Proficiency with ETABS, RAM, RISA, and SAFE software.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design and analysis of mid- to high-rise buildings using ETABS, SAP2000, and RAM.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and contractors to ensure design intent and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians, and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Support business development and client relationship building.
