Job summary

You will mentor junior staff in the Structural Engineering Department, help implement best practices, and conduct and review analyses for diverse system designs at CFS, driving consistency and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
• Typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods
• Work in a facility with industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, high voltage

Responsibilities

• Serve as a domain expert in structural mechanics
• Solve complex problems and provide recommendations by providing technical leadership and collaborating with stakeholders across CFS
• Mentor junior staff within the Structural Engineering Department and other mechanical engineers that conduct structural analysis
• Assist Structural Engineering Department management in development, implementation and adoption of best practices, workflows, and overall strategy
• Conduct and review structural analysis for various system designs at CFS
