Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Mason Superintendent to lead field operations from our Hartford, CT office. You will supervise foremen and crews on concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing and structural strengthening projects.

The role requires extensive field leadership, planning, and coordination with Project Managers and Division Managers. A focus on safety and mentoring of staff is essential for success in this large Operations division.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in general construction with at least 5 years in a Foreman or Assistant Superintendent role.
• Experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, facade restoration.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers, Division Managers and other leaders within the STRUCTURAL business line.
• Participate in pre-project and pre-task planning activities then disseminating planning details to field crews.
• Motivate team members to work together to accomplish tasks, coordinate work activities with other construction project activities and assign work to employees, based on material and worker requirements of specific jobs.
• Ensure crews are operating all tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner.
• Provide training and assistance to crews in the performance of work related tasks.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project.
• Complete all essential paperwork in a clear and accurate manner.
• Interviewing and hiring of new field employees.
• Providing leadership to our Company's Safety 24/7 culture.
