Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Mason Superintendent based out of our Hartford office (Chesire, CT) to provide high-level management to field leaders and foremen on concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and structural strengthening projects.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and Division Managers, participate in pre-project planning, motivate crews, and ensure safe, productive work while maintaining clear documentation and effective client communication.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in general construction with five+ years as Foreman or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience in concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, corrosion control, facade restoration.
• Experience managing four projects simultaneously in commercial construction.
• Ability to read, interpret and execute construction drawings and specifications.
• Dedication to safety and adherence to company operating principles.
• Proven ability to supervise field managers and crews with limited subcontract oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level management to field leaders and foremen.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Division Managers; participate in pre-project planning and disseminate details to crews.
• Motivate teams, coordinate activities, and assign work based on material and labor needs.
• Ensure crews operate tools and equipment safely and productively.
• Provide training and assistance to crews on task performance.
• Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates and planning documents.
• Interview and hire field employees; maintain clear paperwork.
• Lead safety culture and ensure compliance with operations principles.
• Communicate effectively with customers, crews, and project teams.
