Job summary

STRUCTURAL NE&F is hiring a Construction Superintendent to lead field teams from our Boston (Chelmsford) office. You will work with project managers and division leaders to plan, coordinate, and execute concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing, and strengthening projects on commercial/industrial sites.

The role requires 10+ years in construction with 5+ years as a Foreman/Asst Superintendent, deep safety commitment, and the ability to manage multiple projects and crews while reading

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years in general construction with at least 5 years as Foreman or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience with concrete repair, masonry, waterproofing or facade restoration.
• Ability to supervise multiple projects and crews with limited oversight.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract specs.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA-like practices.
• Proficiency with basic construction math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams and supervise foremen and open-shop crews.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Division Managers on planning.
• Drive pre-project planning and disseminate details to crews.
• Motivate teams, coordinate activities and assign tasks by resource needs.
• Ensure proper use of tools and equipment, safety compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to crews on tasks.
• Assist PMs in evaluating production rates and schedules.
• Complete essential project paperwork accurately.
• Interview and hire field employees; uphold Safety 24/7 culture.
