Job summary

STRUCTURAL is seeking a Foreman to oversee field crews from our Hartford, CT area. You will supervise crews, develop schedules, and ensure work meets plans and specifications for concrete repair, masonry restoration, waterproofing and strengthening projects in commercial and industrial settings.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, with 2+ years in a lead role, can read drawings, maintains safety discipline, and communicates effectively with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of general construction experience with at least 2 years in a Leadman or similar role.
• Proven ability to supervise up to 10 technicians with minimal subcontract oversight.
• Ability to read, interpret and execute to construction drawings and contract specifications.
• Commitment to safety.
• Proven experience producing look-ahead schedules and working with construction documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the customer, crew and project teams.
• Basic computer skills and construction math skills.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-site supervision of field crews while accurately estimating labor requirements.
• Developing crew schedules and ensuring work has been completed according to plans and specifications.
• Completing daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets and speed memos for customers and internal management.
• Ensuring crews are operating tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner.
• Assisting Project Managers in evaluating various production rates related to the project.
