Job summary

Bi-State Development in Missouri is seeking a Structures Inspection Program Manager, a licensed engineer responsible for leading the program's performance, administration, planning, and documentation. You will maintain the agency's inspection policy, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and oversee inspections across rail structures and MOW facilities.

You will manage scheduling, budgeting, and consultant contracts, coordinate across departments, and provide engineering

Qualifications

• Licensed professional engineer in MO and IL required; cross-state PE/SE preferred.
• 7+ years of related professional experience; 2+ years of leadership.
• Experience with structural inspections and adherence to federal/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance, administration, and documentation of the Structures Inspection Program.
• Maintain inspection policy and regulatory compliance.
• Schedule and budget for the Structures Inspection Program.
• Administer consultant contracts for inspections, design, and construction.
• Coordinate with consultants; liaise across departments to track progress.
• Perform inspections on bridges, tunnels, walls, culverts, garages, buildings.
• Provide engineering support for inspections, maintenance, and repairs of rail structures and MOW facilities.
• Prepare project reports and updates.
