Job Details
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant professional experience in bridge engineering and bridge inspections.
- Active PE or SE license.
- Experience leading bridge inspection teams or serving in a senior technical role.
- Knowledge of bridge inspection procedures, structural evaluation, and condition documentation.
- Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
- Ability to perform field inspections and travel to bridge sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Illinois bridge inspection team leader designation or applicable qualifications.
- Experience with IDOT bridge inspection projects and procedures.
- Familiarity with NBIS requirements and FHWA bridge inspection standards.
- Experience with bridge load ratings, structural analysis, and rehabilitation recommendations.
- Experience managing inspection teams, project schedules, and client deliverables.
