Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Experience with forensic investigations, diagnostics, or structural assessments preferred.
• Strong background in concrete, steel, wood, and masonry design/analysis.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Structural Engineering strongly preferred.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Comfortable managing projects independently while collaborating with teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic investigations and structural condition assessments across a range of building types.
• Analyze structural failures, material behavior, and performance issues to determine root causes.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, findings, and expert recommendations.
• Perform on-site investigations, testing, inspections, and documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, legal teams, insurance professionals, and project stakeholders.
• Support project scoping, proposals, and ongoing client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical development.
