Job summary

Aperture LLC seeks a Sr. Structural Engineer to lead forensic structural investigations in Massachusetts, guiding multidisciplinary teams and delivering precise analyses and reports. MA licensure (PE) and NCEES record are required; court testimony experience is preferred. Travel to field sites and post-disaster environments is expected. Proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office is essential.

Strong technical writing and communication skills are a must for client engagement and project success.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required from an ABET-accredited university.
• PE license required.
• NCEES record required.
• Proficient technical writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic analysis of building structures and lead multi-disciplined investigations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support marketing efforts.
• Lead building investigations and remedial repairs, designing structures and reports.
• Prepare well-written reports and review submittals for construction quality.
• Apply structural analysis knowledge and understand the standard of care.
