Opti Staffing Group is assisting in sourcing a Structural Fitter/Welder for a Clackamas, OR location. The role requires 5+ years of welding experience and proficiency with FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW. You will lay out, weld, cut, and assemble structural steel components using blueprints and WPS documentation.

Strong reading of fabrication drawings and teamwork are essential. Compensation includes a pay class A of $30+ per hour (DOE), with overtime opportunities on Fridays and a full-time, long-term

Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years of welding experience.
• Proficiency with FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW.
• Structural steel welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with WPS procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/fabrication drawings.

Aufgaben

• Weld, cut, and fabricate structural steel components and assemblies.
• Lay out, mark, cut, saw, drill, punch, bolt, weld, and assemble steel components.
• Work with bars, I-beams, channels, angles, tees, plates, and other structural steel members.
• Read weld symbols and follow WPS documentation.
• Inspect work for quality and adherence to specifications.
