Job summary

Hixson Architecture, Engineering, Interiors, in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a licensed Civil/Structural Engineer to lead the Structural Engineering department as Manager of Structural Engineering. You will oversee SEOR, mentor engineers, and drive technical excellence on projects up to $500 million.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of structural engineering experience with project leadership
• PE license required with ability to obtain licensure across US/Canada
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Structural Engineering team through coaching, mentoring, and staffing
• Serve as Structural Engineer of Record on projects across the US and Canada
• Review scope and develop structural design fee estimates for proposals
• Oversee project execution, resource planning, quality control, and department performance
• Ensure compliance with building codes and engineering standards
• Contribute to business growth and client relationships
