Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Structural Business Class Leader in Houston, TX. You will lead the structural business class, coordinate area staff, and drive quality engineering services for complex vertical buildings and water-bearing structures.

You will supervise engineers and designers, manage project delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs, budgets, and schedules. HDR emphasizes employee ownership and inclusive growth across communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering-related field and professional registration

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate structural design tasks for vertical buildings and water-bearing structures
• Oversee project coordination with operations, marketing and project management
• Ensure QA/QC reviews align with codes and client expectations
• Support budgeting, scheduling and client relations for multiple projects
• Mentor and develop staff in a geographically dispersed team
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and practice development
