KPFF Special Projects Division in Seattle, WA seeks a highly experienced Structural Engineer to support waterfront and industrial infrastructure projects. You will apply structural design expertise, contribute to project management, and deliver exceptional client service across port developments and shipyard work.

The role requires 10+ years of structural design, SE license, and strong knowledge of seismic design, pile walls, and bulkheads.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of structural design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis).
• MS in Civil Engineering preferred (structural emphasis).
• SE license required (Structural Engineer).
• Concrete, steel, and timber design experience.
• Pile design and bulkhead wall experience.
• Prestressed concrete and seismic design experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and development for waterfront/infrastructure projects.
• Assist with project management and client communication to ensure outcomes.
• Conduct site visits and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor junior staff and support knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver innovative, realizable solutions.
