Job summary

KPFF Special Projects Division seeks an experienced civil engineer to work on ports, marinas, and waterfront infrastructure across the Pacific Northwest. You will contribute to planning, design, permitting support, and construction services from Seattle, Tacoma, and beyond.

The role emphasizes technical design, project coordination, and client interaction, with mentorship from senior staff as you grow toward project management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum five years of civil engineering or site-development design experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs, calculations, reports, and construction documents for civil infrastructure.
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater, sewer, water, and site-development systems.
• Coordinate deliverables, schedules, and budgets with project teams.
• Conduct field visits and site inspections.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance with partners.
• Maintain communication with clients and mentors junior staff.
