KPFF Special Projects Group in Tacoma, WA is seeking an ambitious entry-level Structural Engineer to join a growing team. You’ll work on civil, industrial, port, marine waterfront, ferry terminals, and transportation design build projects, gaining hands-on experience and developing design and project management skills.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree (Bachelor or Master, structural focus) with EIT preferred, and coursework in concrete, steel, and timber.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Master’s degree in civil engineering (structural Focused).
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Willingness to work on a variety of projects.
• Concrete, steel, and timber coursework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Structural Design and Development: apply engineering knowledge on diverse projects with teams to devise innovative solutions.
• Contribute to waterfront, port, industrial, and transportation projects leveraging specialized skills.
• Identify challenges and solve problems using traditional and modern engineering techniques.
