Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to design and lead projects for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems. You will develop technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications with support from a national network of experts.

You will join a collaborative, mentorship-minded team and use 3D software tools while working within a hybrid model combining Jacobs offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a structural engineer.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis; Master’s in structural engineering is a plus.
• Experience with municipal/industrial water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams and ability to mentor others.
• Proficiency with structural design software and office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project technical reports, calculations, drawings and specs.
• Design and oversee water/wastewater facilities and conveyance systems.
• Collaborate with local and national experts to deliver projects on time and budget.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to client-facing success.
