Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Northwest team, leading design for water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems. You’ll prepare reports, calculations, drawings, and specs with support from senior experts.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and use STAAD.Pro, RAM and TEDDS among other tools to deliver safe, reliable infrastructure. US citizen required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• S.E. license or eligibility via reciprocity within six months.
• Civil engineering degree with structural emphasis; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in municipal/industrial water and wastewater plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
• Heavy civil/industrial/mining experience also considered.
• Construction phase support and multi-discipline project experience.
• Team oriented with mentoring and time/budget management.
• Proficient in structural design software and office/review tools.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities
