HEPCO Inc. seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to support our Outside Plant Engineering & Design Group in the United States.

The role involves civil and structural design, analysis, and field construction support for electric transmission and distribution projects. The successful candidate will develop construction drawings and calculations, support structural alterations, review designs, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years civil/structural engineering with design and field experience.
• Active Professional Engineer license.
• Experience with structural calculations and drawing production.
• Knowledge of subsurface investigations and geological conditions.
• Experience with deep foundations and underground utilities design.
• Familiarity with utility standards (ASME, NESC, ACI, ASTM, ASCE).
• Proficiency with identified structural design tools.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Develop construction drawings and calculations for steel, aluminum, and concrete structures.
• Design and detail transmission structures and foundations.
• Provide field construction support and resolve complex issues.
• Review designs and provide technical recommendations.
• Coordinate design activities and mentor junior engineers.
• Prepare reinforcement drawings and underground duct banks.
