Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum eight years in civil/structural engineering including design and field/resident engineering on major projects.
• Experience in complex civil/structural calculations and analyses.
• Experience preparing construction drawings for steel, aluminum, concrete structures and foundations.
• Experience in designing and detailing steel transmission structures (lattice and tubular).
• Knowledge of subsurface investigation and geology conditions; deep foundation design.
• Experience with underground duct bank and manhole design.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiar with AutoCAD/MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex civil/structural calculations and analysis.
• Prepare construction drawings for steel, aluminum, concrete structures and foundations.
• Design and detail steel transmission structures (lattice towers and tubular poles).
• Prepare existing structural and foundation reinforcement drawings.
• Perform underground duct bank and manhole structural design.
