Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience in a consulting/design environment.
• Strong background in structural calculations, analysis and documentation.
• Experience using structural analysis and design software; Revit/BIM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building and support structures using steel, concrete, masonry, timber and other materials.
• Develop engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Prepare construction drawings, details and specifications.
• Review shop drawings and support construction-phase services.
• Conduct site visits and observe construction progress.
• Evaluate existing structures and develop repair/retrofit solutions.
• Participate in forensic investigations and code compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and project stakeholders.
