Qualifications

• PE license in New York
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Master preferred
• 5+ years of structural engineering in consulting/design
• Strong background in structural calculations, analysis, and docs
• Experience using structural analysis and design software
• Familiarity with Revit or BIM software preferred
• Strong written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple assignments under deadlines
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building and support structures using various materials.
• Develop engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation.
• Prepare construction drawings, details, specs, and related deliverables.
• Review shop drawings, respond to contractor inquiries, support construction-phase services.
• Conduct site visits to document conditions and progress.
• Evaluate existing structures and develop repair/retrofit solutions.
• Participate in forensic investigations and structural assessments as needed.
• Conduct quality reviews and ensure code/compliance.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines and stakeholders.
