Qualifications

Professional Engineer license required.
5+ years of experience after graduation from an accredited program.
Experience designing structural systems with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry.
Strong knowledge of building codes, analysis, and value engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor structural design staff through design and construction phases.
Develop practical, efficient, and constructable structural solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop concepts, drawings, and specs.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, manufacturers, vendors and internal teams.
Ensure designs meet quality standards and project requirements.
Use industry software to analyze gravity, lateral and foundation loading systems.
Support construction administration and respond to contractor questions.
