Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (PE) to join the USA Structural Engineering Team's data center program. You will provide senior leadership, oversee deliverables, and drive improvement in engineering practices across projects nationwide.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, PE licensure, and strong knowledge of codes and structural systems. Travel ~20% within the United States; collaboration with architects, engineers, and owners is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience related to data centers or complex capital projects in the United States.
• PE licensure in the United States; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Knowledge of structural design codes, standards, and building codes (IBC, ACI, AISC).
• Strong knowledge of structural systems, wind and seismic design, construction means/methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Ability to communicate concepts clearly to Architects, Engineers, and Owner clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME technical guidance and oversight to structural engineers; mentor team members.
• Serve as Engineer of Record; manage budgets, schedules, plans, permits, and scopes of work.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines, staff, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.
• Apply building codes and standards to structural design and construction documents.
• Perform Construction Administration duties: field observations, RFIs, submittal reviews, change orders.
