Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (PE) to join our USA Structural Engineering Team in Austin, TX. This role can be office-based, home-office or hybrid, with about 20% travel within the U.S.

You will guide design teams, oversee deliverables, and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements across sectors. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years of US structural experience, PE licensure, and strong knowledge of IBC/AISC/ACI codes, with proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT, RISA

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of US-based structural engineering experience.
• PE licensure in the United States; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structural design codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI).
• Experience using AutoCAD/REVIT, RISA, ETABS and related tools for design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical authority for assigned engineering programs and initiatives.
• Provide SME guidance and oversight to structural engineers; mentor team members.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on projects; manage budgets, schedules, permits, and submissions.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle; travel as needed.
